WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT & LIVELIHOODS
Unlocking Potential
Where Every Skill Blooms.
Where Every Woman Leads.
Saath Gramin Trust is dedicated to empowering women by equipping them with livelihood skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial support. Through targeted programs, women gain the tools to achieve economic independence and create positive change in their communities
We focus on fostering long-term financial sustainability by inculcating a habit of savings and providing access to credit. We help women break free from high-interest local brokers and establish their own micro-enterprises. From tribal girls in Sarigam running production cooperatives to women in Dholka managing multi-shop businesses, we are cultivating a generation of financially independent and socially resilient female leaders.
KEY INITIATIVES
The Saksham Women Empowerment Livelihood Project in Silvassa, implemented with the support of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, trained 75 disadvantaged tribal women in dairy and poultry farming, tailoring, and bakery, fostering sustainable income opportunities and entrepreneurship.
In Ankleshwar, 50 women received diverse employment-ready skills under a project funded by Coromandel International Limited, achieving 100% placement and earning steady incomes of ₹8,000-10,000 per month.
In Sarigam, 40 tribal girls and women trained in advanced tailoring established the “Sarigam Nari Pahal” cooperative, earning ₹5,000-15,000 while gaining skills in production, marketing, and operations management.
Over 500 women have benefited from Financial Literacy Programs covering budgeting, emergency preparedness, and understanding government schemes, enabling informed financial decisions and long-term economic stability.
Partnered with the Saath Mahila Saving and Credit Cooperative Society Limited to form 50 SHGs and JLGs, providing over 500 women with access to secure savings and credit for micro-enterprises.

Naynaben's Journey
From Struggle to Stability
Naynaben Vasava, a 35-year-old mother of three, struggled to support her family with a monthly household income of only INR 3,000–4,000. While her husband worked as a daily wage labourer, Naynaben earned INR 1,500 as a domestic worker.
Seeking a better future, she joined the project “Empowering Women and Girls by Enhancing Their Income”, implemented by Saath Gramin Trust with support from Coromandel International Ltd. Despite her responsibilities, she completed all 15 days of training with dedication.
The training boosted her confidence and helped her secure a housekeeping job at Diraj & Sons Super Market. Today, Naynaben earns INR 8,000 per month, bringing greater financial stability and hope to her family.
Her journey reflects the transformative power of skill development and livelihood opportunities for women.
