About Us
Established in 2018 under the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950, Saath Gramin Trust is a community-driven organization, a beacon of hope and empowerment for rural and urban women, girls, youth, children, and vulnerable communities across Gujarat.
Believing in the power of community collaboration, we equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to break the cycle of poverty. Through education, health, livelihood programs, sustainable agriculture and climate initiatives, the trust enables rural and urban communities to thrive with dignity and confidence.
Vision
Inclusive, self-sustaining communities where women, youth, children, and vulnerable groups drive lasting change and prosperity.
Mission
To equip women, youth, children, and vulnerable groups with skills, education, and sustainable solutions to foster equality, resilience, and progress.
Our PROMISE
Nurturing A Social Change
Transforming marginalized communities into self-sustaining ecosystems where women lead, children thrive, youth thrive and every family rises with dignity.
CORE OBJECTIVES
Women Empowerment & Sustainable Livelihoods
To strengthen the socio-economic well-being of vulnerable communities, particularly women and youth, by fostering sustainable livelihoods, skill development, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion. We focus on building community-owned enterprises to enhance long-term income security, dignity, leadership, and resilience.
Sustainable Agriculture and Farmer Institutions
To promote sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture by strengthening the capacities of small and marginal farmers, women farmers, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) through training, demonstration models, crop diversification, organic and low-input farming practices, soil health improvement, value addition, and market linkages.
Health, Nutrition, and Adolescent Wellbeing
To improve community wellbeing by promoting awareness and access to nutrition, menstrual hygiene management, and adolescent health. We prioritize preventive healthcare and physical wellbeing through participatory, behavior-change approaches that strengthen community-based health systems.
Childcare, Education, and Community Development
To support children and vulnerable families through safe childcare systems and early childhood development. By creating enabling environments for education and safe childcare, we support the holistic growth of children while simultaneously strengthening women’s ability to participate in livelihoods and active community life.
